MUSIC atTAC Ensemble Camp
(6th-12th grade fall 2025)
For the serious music student! Open to instrumentalists with at least two years of school musical experience. Exceptions made on an individual basis for advanced students who fall outside the age group.
Participants will build their rhythmic foundation and improvisational skills by exploring concepts of rhythm through Latin and jazz musical styles. Renowned director, composer, pianist, and producer Pablo Mayor of Folklore Urbano NYC will lead students in exercises on syncopation, understanding Afro-Cuban clave, musical form, and improvisation. Students will rehearse music arranged just for them to share with parents at the end of the week!
Registration is limited.
July 7-11
1:15-3:15pm M-F
One week
$160/week, residents, $175/week non-residents
*Limited scholarships available for school district families - indicate on form or contact school social worker.
**Option to pair with the morning Writers Express "World Building 101" 9am-1pm
*Scholarships are limited. Please indicate on the registration form if you are in need of a scholarship. Tarrytown Arts Camp does its best to provide financial aid to students in need.
